Postgraduate studies
When I finally
finish my studies in visual arts, I would like to rest for a long time before
returning to study, to be able to rest, dedicate myself to exercising my career
and living my life, but sooner or later I think I will return to study, I still
do not find the most suitable postgraduate for me, although I think it would be
restoration, cultural management, or even architectural
heritage, in that order.
To be practical I
will choose restoration, I would like to do the postgraduate abroad preferably,
this because studying abroad opens your mind to new ideas and ways of seeing
things and I also think it would be a beautiful experience and an opportunity
to know and live other realities.
I would like to
learn about the restoration of archaeological pieces, ancient works of art,
sculptures, paintings, photographs, etc. I would also like to learn how the
environment affects the work, for example, how humidity or light deteriorate
the object.
The way in which
I imagine the classes of this imaginary postgraduate is only in person and part
time. I think that these types of classes should be totally face-to-face. I
couldn't imagine myself restoring a famous piece of Greek art after having only
had online classes, so for that reason
I would also have to wait for the pandemic to stop so I could learn quietly.
How nice, I have seen videos on youtube where they restore pieces of art, they are very pleasant!
ResponderEliminaryeah!, it´s very addictive watch those videos haha
