my experiences with the english course

Imagen
Studying English at university was a real adventure that unfortunately went wrong, I remember even when on the day of the diagnostic test, in 2016, I was lost for hours looking for university and I was bitten by a dog ... when I got to give the test I was really tired, and sore from the bite, and well as expected I did badly in the test, and well without saying more I was delayed with this course. The experience in general was bad, because I had many problems with the registration of these courses, but theclasses in general were good and I was abletolearn, which is the important thing,   in this sense I think that this type of blog has been very important to feel free and write, so   I think today I can understand that I am reading or that I am listening,   even so, I think I have a hard time speaking and expressing my ideas in English. I think that to solve this problem of speaking English I should go to live in a country where I am forced to speak the languag...

Postgraduate studies

Imagen
When I finally finish my studies in visual arts, I would like to rest for a long time before returning to study, to be able to rest, dedicate myself to exercising my career and living my life, but sooner or later I think I will return to study, I still do not find the most suitable postgraduate for me, although I think it would be restoration,   cultural management,   or   even   architectural heritage, in that order. To be practical I will choose restoration, I would like to do the postgraduate abroad preferably, this because studying abroad opens your mind to new ideas and ways of seeing things and I also think it would be a beautiful experience and an opportunity to know and live other realities. I would like to learn about the restoration of archaeological pieces, ancient works of art, sculptures, paintings, photographs, etc. I would also like to learn how the environment affects the work, for example, how humidity or light deteriorate the object. Th...

My future job

Imagen
This English course is the last one I have left to be able to graduate, and it happens to me that I have not thought that I could work after this, but I would very much like to dedicate myself to what I have studied all these years, obviously, if not, it is not worth having wasted four years of my life to work in a locked office ... My ideal job would be to be my own boss, have my workshop and sell my creations, but I would also like to dedicate myself to photography and perhaps tourism as a photographer of landscapes or animals of Chile, and well when the years go by maybe dedicate myself to doing art classes in prison or schools of scarce resources. What I like about being your own boss and self-managing your artistic projects is that nobody censors your ideas, as happens in public artistic funds, in this sense I value very much the freedom that this way of working gives, on the other hand, you do not have the obligation to work with schedules and above all whatI value most...

my favourite movie

Imagen
I like cinema since I was a child, in my family it was important to read,   but for money issues it was easier to buy movies than books,I still remember shopping on the street where we could choose four films for the priceof one, for example,on the other hand I think that cinema is the art that groups all other artistic expressions and I find that wonderful     , without underestimating the books, which have undoubtedly marked me much more than the movies. The films I enjoy the most are alternative cinema, psychological suspense films, science fiction with futuristic themes, dystopias and finally the dramas of impossible love or with more realistic endings that the famous "lived happily ever after". I must admit that I am very critical of the films and if I see flaws in how they are made I simply stopwatching them but thefilm that I still remember for its intense plot is "mommy" by Xavier Dolan, tells the story of a troubled teenager, his mother and a neighbor...

A photograph I like

Imagen
The first time I had a camera was at the age of 10 and since that moment I have recorded each of the moments of my life, the image I show in this blog is really significant for me because it was one of the strongest experiences that I have lived. I took this image in July 2020, I was out of work at the time and all I could do was go to work in a hospital in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. This work experience has been one of the worst, not only because there was a virus that we did not know completely how it was, but also because I worked 24 hours and had to sleep on the floor of a meeting room in the middle of winter. Despite all this image I like because I really felt that with all the effort I made I was able to help some people who needed it and that served as personal growth, which is the most important thing.

Holidays in Quintero

Imagen
My best vacation was the last one I had with my family, at that time we were my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister and I, we went the summer of 2015 to the bay of quintero, in the region of Valparaíso, we spent a week touring the town and we knew the contaminated  Ventana  beach but we did not bathe there, we also met the horcón beach, a very quiet and beautiful place. I really liked swimming in the sea, and running along the beach with my brothers, we also tried the ceviche de reineta and   empanada  de mariscos  of the area.   This holiday was the best because I love the sea and swimming in the ocean, also because it was a new place and different from what I knew. Unfortunately that whole area was destroyed years later by an oil spill, although the area was also being destroyed by a thermoelectric plant ...

A country I would like to visit

In this time of holidays and rest I always think about what country I would like to visit if I could and automatically, I think of Italy, a country with a Mediterranean climate, with beautiful beaches and good gastronomy, perfect to enjoy the art and classic architecture of its cities, such as Florence or the Amalfi coast with villages brought from another era. Florence has one of the most visited museums in all of Italy, the uffizigallery, it has famous works by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Caravaggio, among other great artists. Other cities I would like to visitwould be Venice. With its huge canals Venice offers boat rides and great architectural attractions such as St. Mark's Square or the basilica of the same name. a flight to Italy from my country, Chile, costs about $800,000 Chilean pesos, which would be $960.00. in relation to the COVID 19 pandemic, this country does not accept the entry of people vaccinated with Sinovac doses.
